A Dinner with Anderson's

Well I am still pregnant, but am now OFF BEDREST!!!! Yay for freedom from the bed. It does kind of sticnk that I feel so crappy when I could finally get up and move. We thought that we would for sure have our little miss by now, but no such luck. She is being stubborn. I started contracting on Friday, but it isn't progressing anything. Charlie and Whitney took pity on me and offered to go out on an adventure with my family. We decided to go to dinner at Pizza Hut and go walking :) The weather was too cold for walking, but the pizza was great. The kids were so cute! Trayvn loved that he got to color pictures. He can make the funniest faces when he is focused and coloring.

While waiting so patiently for our food, the kids started making funny faces (thanks to Rhev).

Trayvn tried to pull his cheeks, but just couldn't figure it out. :)

After pizza we decided to go over to artic circle for ice cream. We got to take Chase in our car and Rhev rode with Charlie and Whitney and Allie. Chase and Trayvn were so cute in the backseat. They talked to each other the whole time like they were long lost friends. I just love these two little boys.s

Windy Sunday

It was a very windy day today and while leaving the church both of my boys thought it was funny to pretend like they were getting blown away. Uncle Kayl then thought it would be a good idea to catch Trayvn and stick him to the pole. I thought it would scare him, but he just thought it was hilarious! I had to hurry quick to get my phone out of the car so I could take his picture.

Trayvn's New Bed

My baby is growing up. Since daddy was finally home today and didn't have to work, we were able to get the toddler bed set up and ready for Trayvn to sleep in. For a month now Trayvn has very obviously grown out of sleeping in a crib, but Tyce just hasn't had time to set up the toddler bed for him.  The boys were so excited, especially Trayvn. He thought it was so cool that he could get into bed and jump off of it. My baby is getting so big.

Sorry the pictures aren't great. It was a very sunny morning.

Rocking Baby Sister Puppy

Baby sister has taken a long time to get here and her brothers are very excited to meet her. Rhev has been taking care of his "baby sister puppy" and "baby sister dolly" so well. He dresses them, changes their diapers and always rocks them to sleep. He tells me that as soon as the real baby sister gets here, then they will go back to their normal selves. I think he just wants the extra practice. He is going to be a great big brother!

Harvest 2013

Another year of potato harvest has come and gone. It was actually a really smooth running year. Not once did they get rained out or have to quite early because of problems. Yields were really good as well; that is except for the field that we had. It was the only one with poor yields. That's 2 years in a row the bad fields were the ones we make money off of. Oh well, there is always next year and you always learn alot more when things don't go exactly as planned. Because I was on bed rest during harvest there wasn't really a chance for me to go out to the transfer sight with the boys. On the night that I did get to take them, it was too cold to get out of the car, so my boys took funny pictures instead :)

You gotta love potato harvest. That is one mile stone to have checked off our list. Now if we could just get baby sister here, then life could finally get back to being a little more normal.

Angry Birds

Rhev has been obsessed  with Angry Birds on his "own beary nook" lately. He doesn't necessarily play the game, he just likes to watch the little 3 minute cartoons that come with the game and listen to the theme song that will play over and over and over.
This morning however I thought it was funny when I found the boys together, on my bed, watching Angry Birds and eating Angry Birds shaped crackers that Luke Grandma bought for them.

Oh my funny boys!

Sunday Morning Handsome's

Why am I the luckiest girl in the world? Well.... It's because I was blessed with the handsomest and sweetest boys in the world. Sunday mornings are my favorite. I love to see my boys cleaned, dressed up in white shirts and ties, and looking like missionaries. Since the day our boys were born we have always dressed them in white shirts, ties and their best Sunday pants and shoes. We do it because neither Tyce nor I have ever seen either one of our Dads wear anything but that to church and we want our boys to grow up knowing that kind of example. I feel like it really helps the boys understand that Sunday is a really special day and it starts by what you wear. Plus, you can't deny they look absolutely Handsome!!!

Once the boys and I are ready for church, we like to go outside on the front step and wait for Daddy to come and pick us up. He has an early morning meeting on Sundays, so when it's finished then he comes and gets us.

Trayvn loves to play chasing games!

This is what happens when I try to get them to pose for a picture :)

Today was a Special Sunday so I decided to take their pictures. Today was the Primary Program for our ward and the first time Rhev has ever given a talk. We have been practicing his talk and the songs he would sing for weeks now. He was so ready and so excited to give his talk. When we got to church we found out the Rhev had quite the cheering section waiting for him. Candy Grandma and the kids were there, but so were Luke Grandma and Grandpa, Dave and Kylee, and Amy and Warren and their kids. Rhev thought it was so cool that they all came to watch him.

"I can be a missionary by reading scriptures, being a good example and being a good friend" - Rhev's talk

As he got up to the microphone to give his talk, he didn't disappoint and made sure that he said his line LOUD and clear. He made sure he woke up all the old people in the back row:) He was so confident and cute. He said it all by himself and didn't skip a beat. I'm such a wimpy Mom because it made me tear up. I just can't believe he is getting so big and is so confident with himself. He makes me proud everyday.

I am so grateful that my boys have the gospel in their lives. I really hope some day they will both be able to go on missions and serve the Lord. I realize that the preparation for those missions starts now. Going to church every Sunday isn't an easy thing with kids, but I know that it's worth it. I know that someday they will appreciate and understand the gospel more and on that day our hard work will be worth it. I want to be a forever family and I know this is just one of the important steps it takes to be that forever family.

Train Rides

This Mom loves when her boys will not only be brothers, but be best friends. This morning was one of those great mornings. Rhev built a train so that Trayvn could have a ride. Using the scoot car and a rolling suitcase he built a train. Trayvn was so happy for the rides and Rhev was so proud to give them to him.

Soon it was time to switch. I didn't even have to nag at them to take turns. They just did it themselves. Trayvn couldn't pull as fast as Rhev could, but rhev was still patient and had a great time.

I love happy brother moments!
