It's Tyce's big birthday! He is now really old. 30!!!!! I can't believe it!
Today started off with 2 little boys jumping on our bed cheering, "Happy Birthday Daddy". We then opened daddy's one small present and got dressed to go visit the doctor. It seems like lately all we do is go and visit the doctor. I am finally past the 37 week mark, so it is just up to the doctor to decided he is ready to let me go. At the appointment I was 4cm dilated. It still wasn't enough to have my water broken, but we were closer. I think doctor Soucie could see our frustration and see the pain that I was in. Finally he made the decision that if I didn't have this baby on my own by the end of the night then tomorrow morning he would admit us at 5:00am and break my water. I think that was the best birthday present Tyce could have gotten. Finally there was an end in sight for all the pain I was going through.
The rest of the day Tyce had to spend at work. He wanted to be able to take a couple days off work after I have the baby to help me, so he didn't feel like he could take today off. He is such a hard worker and is so selfless. I love him to pieces.
Lucky for me, it was cleaning day and my Mom came to help me clean the house so it would be ready for baby sister to come. It was a good thing. I was still really sore from our walk, and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do it all by myself. And besides, she needed one last cleaning day :)
Once Tyce got home we had a home cooked dinner, then had cake and ice cream. Rhev had definite opinions as to what Daddy's cake should look like. He wanted him to have a Bunny cake :) Luckily I am a smart Mommy and found some "Bunny" tracks ice cream instead. Rhev thought that was close enough.
When the time came to blow out candles, of course both boys had to help. Rhev thought it was funny to blow them out before I had them all lit. Tyce had to protect the cake from his blowing.
\My favorite part about these pictures is watching Tyce. He takes such good care of his boys and is such a good Daddy. He makes me so proud!
Once cake and ice cream were eaten, we got the boys all packed and took them over to Candy Grandma's for a long sleepover. I made me a little sad dropping them off because I didn't know what the next day would bring us. I pray everything goes smoothly and hopefully the next time we see them will be with a new, healthy baby sister.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!!
