Cleaning the Garage

Ever since we bought our new house, our garage has been a disaster zone. It was the place where if something didn't have a place to go, we would just pile it in the garage. We still had enough space to park our 3 vehicles, it was just a tight fit and if you wanted to find anything out there, you needed an hour or two to find it because it was so unorganized and cluttered. Finally it got to the point where my organized, OCD husband could not take it anymore. He took a Saturday off work and cleaned. It literally took him all day, a load to the garbage dump, alot of sweeping and ended in a huge bonfire of boxes. I'm not going to lie, I was super impressed at how much stuff he was able to clear out. I laid there in my lawn chair and watched as he worked and worked.  The end result was awesome.

Now all three cars fit with enough space left over that Rhev can ride his bike in it. It has been so nice!

While Tyce and I were in the garage, the boys went outside to play. After a while of quiet from them (and not the good kind of quiet) Tyce went to check on them. They had a water hydrant running, were soaked and covered in mud. When we asked them what they were doing Rhev said "We were making a river so we could go fishing Daddy". Even my over reacting husband couldn't get mad at that. They were so proud of their river and Rhev was sure if Daddy fished with them, they would catch a big fish.

It was really fun for their mom to see them playing so good together and getting along. I love happy brother moments.

After a long day of mud and garage cleaning, we went and had a nice cook out with Tyce's family. My little boys are pyromaniacs and always love a good cook out. I'm so grateful to have family close so we can have these fun times so often.
