Easter 2014

Here what happens when you let a 2 1/2 year old color Easter eggs. He's going to be purple for a month!
Sunday morning the kids woke up and sure enough, the Easter bunny found our house. Rhev was really concerned about it before he fell asleep, but I assured him that he would come.

Rhev's loot

Maylie's loot

Trayvn's loot

Family's loot

They waited until after church to go into the living room to check out their baskets and they were so happy to see them full.

Of course we had to do a photo shoot with my cute little Easter girl in her Easter Dress

She is Happy ALL the time!

After that we rode the Rhino over to Candy Grandma's house. Kayl had his horse all saddled up so he could give the boys a ride.

I was surprised how Maylie wasn't scared of it at all. If we would have let her, she would have kissed her.

After their horse ride, they did a little egg hunt with aunts and uncles and then it was then time to go to Luke Grandma's for the traditional giant Easter egg hunt we always do. The kids hadn't had a nap yet and were getting a little whiny, but it was still a great time. They did a kids hunt and an adult hunt.

The kids came off with a ton of candy and more money then they've ever made. Trayvn was a sweet boy and gave his money away to some of his cousins who didn't get very much money. I was really proud of him. He doesn't really know what money is yet, but I thought it was cool that he would share so easily.

During the adult hunt, there was one big money egg. In all my years of doing Easter egg hunts with my family, I have NEVER gotten more then a $1.00 bill. I was determined to not make it 28 years of failure. I finally did it. Not did I get a $5 egg, but I got the BIG money egg! I came off the champion! I left the easter egg hunt with $34! Oh ya! Who's lucky now :)
