Brothers being Brothers

Lately I've been finding my boys doing things together. Actually together; playing; getting along. It has all been rather a shock to me really :) Yesterday I caught them playing together in the bathroom (of all places). They were totally embarrassed when I walked in, but it was so cute. Rhev was being the doctor and Trayvn was the sick person. You'll notice Trayvn had to sit in the sink while the doctor checked on him.

Rhev then had Trayvn doctor him up by wrapping toilet paper around his foot as a bandage.

This morning while I was doing my house cleaning, Rhev came and asked for a fly swatter. I was curious as to why he needed one, seeing as there are no bugs this time of year, so I followed him with my camera. They were both taking turns swatting at a fake bug one of the Goodwin boys gave them. The bug swatting went on for a good 15 minutes. I began to feel really bad for that little plastic bug.

 For Family Home Evening tonight we had our lesson on making good choices that will someday lead us to Heaven. I laid a path of papers on the floor and the boys could take a step closer to Heavenly Father (Dad) for every good choice. Once they got to Heavenly Father then they would get a gift (cookies). I would give them a choice and they would tell me if it was good or bad. I was so proud of the two of them working together to try and figure out the questions and how well they took turns.

I know that someday they will figure out that it is better to have a brother as a best friend then anyone else. I just hope that someday comes sooner then later :)
