Maylie's Blessing Day

After finally finding a dress we sort of liked online, Luke Grandma ordered it. When it came we decided it needed a few adjustments to make it perfect. Luke Grandma spent hours shortening the dress and stiching new ribbons and adding new bows to it. All her work was worth it because the dress turned out perfect. It was just what I had imagined for our little girl. She was so beautiful.

Luke Grandma even found some shoes that fit her tiny little feet perfectly. They added so much to her dress.

Great Grandma-lady was even able to come to her blessing day. She came last night and stayed the night. She was able to go with us to Luke's baptism and then stayed the night. It was so much fun having her here to share this day with us. I just adore my Grandma-lady and I am so grateful my kids are able to love her and enjoy her as much as I do. There was one point in the day when Trayvn was boxing Grandma-lady with boxing gloves and Grandma-lady was boxing him back. She is so good to my kids. I just love her!!!

They are Beautiful!

Four generations of Women. I'm so glad to be able to share this with my Mom and Grandma. Amy is the only other one of my sisters that can experience this (with Ariana). In our family this is a really rare thing to have 4 generations of girls.

This picture makes me laugh. When it was time to take pictures Maylie would NOT cooperate. She was either screaming or giving us this eyes half open, half awake look. Corinne thought it would be funny if Tyce and I pulled the same face.
I have to post this picture of this little boy. This is Wayde and JoHanna's little boy. We've always teased when we found out Maylie was a girl, that he would marry Maylie. Well this little boy is huge. I afraid he could eat Maylie if her really wanted to. He is only 5 months old and weighs 20 pounds. He has so many delicious fattness. I lub him!!!

After Church we had a lunch-in for all of our family and friends that were able to come to the blessing. we had close to 70 people come. We are so blessed to have such wonderful, supportive people around us. During the lunch-in, we had some scientist show up. They were doing science experiments in Trayvns room using saw dust. That's right; Sawdust in Trayvn's room. They got it everywhere. They found it down stairs in the add-on where Tyce does his wood cutting. Of course we couldn't get mad at them because they are so cute and so creative. Thanks to Kim the mess was cleaned up and I didn't even have to mess with it. She is wonderful!

Once everyone had left and the commotion settled down, Igot to have some great snuggle time with my little blessing. She is such a light in my world. I am grateful everyday that I have her and my other 4 blessings. My children are my greatest accomplishments and being a Mom is the best job in the world.

She is always putting her finger by her face like this.
