A Quiet Day at Luke Grandma's

With Birthday's, homecomings, farewells, baby blessings and so forth, it has been a really long time since we've got to spend a Sunday afternoon with my parents. And today it was just us. They boys got some great one on one time with grandma and grandpa. The adults also got a little much needed pinochle playing in (Mom and I won by the way).

The new favorite thing to do at Luke Grandma's is ride Grandpa's Go-kart. Rhev is about a foot too short to be able to push the gas and drive it by himself, but today his dad was a hero and let Rhev sit in the drivers seat to steer and he pushed the gas. Rhev was ecstatic.

I think Tyce had a lot of fun too. He was a really proud Dad. Rhev did a really good job at driving.

After Go-karts we had the boys come in and watch a show and that's when we played pinnacle. They had quite the set up made by Rhev.

They are such funny boys!

Before we could leave for the night, both boys needed one more ride. Grandma got out the four-wheeler, Tyce hooked on the sled and off they went.

Every time they went by, Trayvn would wave and yell "Hi" like he hadn't seen us in hours:)

While waiting for the boys to finish their rides, I got bored and decided to kill the time by making a flower crown. Trayvn thought it was pretty silly and had fun wearing it.

On the way home we had to check Tyce's pipe. I loved looking into the back seat and seeing this view.

Tyce was out doing his pipe and the boys just stared. They think their Daddy can do no wrong and just love watching him work.
