Day 6 with Ariana

It was a good Sunday. Tyce and I slept in because he had a full night of pipe, and we found Ari awake with the boys playing in Trayvn's room. Tyce made German pancakes and I got the boys bathed. We got all ready for church and made it on time:) Church was wonderful. Sunday is my favorite day of the week. I love going to church. It gives me the strength I need to get me through another week. I couldn't imagine my life without Church and being able to go and take the Sacrament each week. I am truly so grateful to apart of such an amazing gospel.

After church we had a nice afternoon at Luke Grandma's house. Kim and Wes's families were both there so the kids got to have a lot of cousin time. It also gave Ari a little bit of a break from being Trayvn's slave :) She got to have some quality Grandpa time playing games instead. Then after a while all the adults joined in the game playing. One of my very favorite things to do is play card games as a family. We do it every Sunday we're together. It brings us so much closer as a family. Win or lose, it's always a good time.

Once the card game was finished, the boys went on their final Go-Kart ride for the day, and Trayvn threw some water balloons we headed off for home. Tyce had to stop and check on some pipe. Trayvn helped. Once they finished we headed home and the boys to bed. It was  a full day of playing and they were both exhausted.

Once the house was quiet, Ari came and crawled on the bed with me. We started to go through old pictures on my computer. We told stories and had a great time going down memory lane. We looked through pictures for 2 hours. Tyce was finally ready for bed so we had to quit and postpone til a later time:) I am just loving my time with Ari. I feel like a kid again. When I was little Ari and I did a lot together. Then when they moved away when she was about 8, it took away all our play time for a few years. It's fun that play time has resumed at least for a little bit. I just love my tater-tot.

Day 5 with Ari

Saturday is cleaning day at our house. Saturday is usually the only day where my shots are working enough that I can get up and not have too many contractions. So the last few Saturdays I've tried to do as much as I can before the shot wears off. I made a list of what needs done the night before so that way with Ari's help we could tackle it all. We had a busy morning and got a lot done. I did all the easy stuff and Ari happily did all the hard stuff :) By noon my body was done and it was back to my bed. I didn't have as much time up as I had hoped, but I am grateful for the little amounts of relief I can get.

While we were cleaning, Rhev had asked if he could play games on my phone. I was happy to let him do it because I thought it would be a good distraction for a while and keep him from making messes faster then we could clean them. Later I found 135 pictures of this....

That' right, 135   pictures of Rhev's face. I laughed so hard at all the different poses he had made.

After we finished cleaning and I layed down for the afternoon, Tyce decided to take us on a family adventure and go for a drive. We headed off the Driggs to go see the firework show. The boys were so excited and i think Ari was ready for a break and some fun. When we got to Driggs/ Huntsman Park, we found they had turned it into a Fair type thing only it was free to the public. They had bouncy houses, a Beach Boys concert and lots of other things. The boys loved the bouncy houses and sweet Ari just kept taking them through.

You could not wipe the smiles off their faces. Ari is just so fun and patient with them.
After a while Tyce's family showed up to join in the fun. The boys loved all the attention they were getting.

Rhev got pretty good at doing flips in Kayl's arms while the waited in line.

Once they closed the bouncy houses down, we had about an hour to wait for the firework show. We went down to the concert area and let the boys run around and watch the Beach Boys for a while. Rhev and Tyce walked right up to the front of the stage. I would have loved to see Rhev's face. Tyce said he loved every minute.
Once it got dark, Grandpa thought the boys were in definite need of some light up swords. Luckily the swords were foam, so til the fireworks finally started the boys entertained us with a very intense sword fight.

Once the firework show started, Rhev was in a total trance. I don't think he blinked. He loves fireworks.

Trayvn on the other hand wasn't so impressed. He cried and kept his head in Chase's shoulder for the first half of the show, but eventually had calmed down and enjoyed the end.
It turned out to be a great day. It was probably the busiest day I have had in the last 2 months, but it was a great day. It's probably going to take me a week to recover, but it was worth and baby didn't come:)

Day 4 With Ariana

Today wasn't much of an eventful day. We just spent the day at home with Ari playing with the boys. They woke up and had watermelon for breakfast. Normally I don't take pictures of the boys eating, but they are just took cute with a slice of watermelon.

They could eat watermelon all day if I would let them.

The afternoon was really rather uneventful. Ari took Rhev outside during Trayvn's nap to play with moon sand that we made (flour and baby oil). They were out there for a good hour before they came in dying of heat. Temperatures have been in the upper 90's these last few days and it makes playing outside a little too difficult. That hour gave me sometime to sit and pamper myself. It was the first time all week that I had a chance to do my hair and make-up :) It feels good to feel like a girl instead of a slob in bed. At least this way I could feel like a girl in bed:)
After moon-sand playing, Tyce came home and we all went downstairs to clean up the spare bedroom. It had a lot of boxes that needed sorted and put away from the move. I sat on a chair and directed traffic while Ari and Tyce did all the work. They did such a good job. The room is totally cleaned out now and ready for someone to sleep in it. It feels really good to have that project done with. During the sorting however, we found the tote that had all my special Christmas decorations in it. We also found a mouse nest inside the tote. We had a nasty little bugger get into the tote and ruin almost everything. My heart was broken. I had so many decorations I had gotten from my Grandma-lady that were completely ruined. I don't know how the mouse got in there, but I hope it's dead now. Lucky Ari got to help me clean off the decorations that could be saved and clean out the tote full of mouse poop.

After the spare room saga, I remembered I had to go take a check to the Fat-boy man with the Ice Cream deliveries with my cheerleaders. While there I got to have quite the experience. Let's just say one thing I have learned is the being a helicopter parent will do absolutely nothing for my kids and I vow never to be like that. I also learned that some people are always going to have a problem with the world around them, even when the world tries it's hardest to be kind and do it's best to help them. The horrible experience I had this evening has taught me a lot and has taught me about the things that are really important. It taught me to always have compassion, even if I feel like someone has wronged me. People make mistakes. Nobody is perfect. It's not worth ruining the life of some else to get my way. I learned forgiveness is a key. Most importantly I learned to keep the lives of others in mind before I over react and do something I might regret. How nice of a world we would live in if people would be more worried about the way they treat others instead of the way they think others should treat them.

After my emotional evening, my wonderful parents came over for dinner. It was just what I needed to get my emotions under control and be happier.
I have two great parents that I know love me.

After dinner it was be time. As I went in to kiss Rhev goodnight I noticed he wasn't sleeping with his puppies. On the floor beside him he had created beds for both his puppies and he told me they were sound asleep. Each puppy had a soft pad, a blanket, and a toy to sleep with. I was one of the sweetest things I have ever seen.

Day 3 with Ari

Today started off lazy and slow. The kids and Ari spent the morning watching shows and playing around and I laid in bed  (of course). Ari is so good with the boys. She just jumps right in and keeps them fed and happy. Right before lunch the 3 of them got their swimming suits on and we headed over to Candy Grandma's to go swimming. Today was such a hot day and the water felt so good for them.

I even got some sunbathing in.

When the boys were finally ready, they got out of the pool and we headed home for some lunch and naps. Trayvn took a great nap and gave Ari a nice break. We played the Wii for a little while and then Rhev showed up and tried to convince us he had already slept and woken up. He put out quite the argument, but he lost :) I'm sure he never did fall asleep, but it did give Ari a little longer of a break from kids.
After naps we decided to go and visit Luke Grandma at work and take her an Ice Cream cone. We thought it might help to cool her off on this hot day. While there the boys found a snail. Rhev placed it underneath a sign to protect it from the sun.
I love the two little bums :)

They were both so curious and careful with their new found pet. It was pretty cute watching them share and take turns holding it.

I just had to throw in this random picture of Ari :)

And this random one of my cute boy :)

After the visit with Luke Grandma, we were all hot again. We hurried home, grabbed our suits and headed back to Candy Grandma's for more swimming. I even got in my suit and swam.   The water was so refreshing. Both boys by the end were swimming without their life jackets. Trayvn had to be held, but Rhev did so well. He's really getting swimming figured out. The water is as deep as his chin, but he was still able to swim by himself. I was really proud of him.

After swimming for a couple hours we came home and had popcorn and a movie. Both boys were still hungry so each got to pick another snack.
A carrot for Rhev and the repeated phrase "Ah, what's up Doc?"

And a pickle for Trayvn. I think Ari started a new bad habit with this boy. He loves him some pickles!!!

Once again it was another successful day at home, because of Ari. I can't tell you just how nice it has been to have my boys home and experiencing their little adventures with them instead of hearing through someone else. I don't think I'm ever going to let Ari go home. It is such a blessing to have her here. I'm loving every minute I get with these boys here with me and it's all because she's here!
