The creative minds of my children never cease to amaze me. Yesterday was laundry day and it was time to change the sheets on my bed. Rhev helped me get all the blankets off until it came to the fitted mattress sheet. He pulled it all the way from the top of the bed to the bottom, then stopped. The way the sheet drapped down, made it look like a pool. He then adjusted and attached the blanket to the door to make the pool bigger. He then ran into his room, found his blue "snuggly" blanket, came back and put the blue blanket in the pool as water, because "water is blue". He then climbed in and predended to swim. It was quite entertaining.
So after a bit, Trayvn came over and wanted to "swim" too. Instead of simply climbing in over the side of the pool, he thought it would be a good idea to jump in off the bed. Every time he jumped he landed on his bum harder and harder. That didn't stop him, it just made him laugh harder and harder. He has such a high pain tolerance. The two boys contiued to play together in their "pool" until Luke Grandma came to do the laundry. It was quite the pool party!
This is a picture of the pool from my angle on the bed. Notice the blue water :)
