Piano Lesson Play time

Tyce's cousin Marcus's Wife, Stephanie has been coming over for a couple piano lessons. The other benefit is that the kids get to have some fun play time together. Rhev, Trayvn and Savaya are loving playing outside in the sunshine. Maylie and Annika are getting to know each other. Annika is almost exactly one month younger then Maylie, but she is about 10 pounds heavier. She is adorable and has tons of chubbs. They don't always get along, but they are both very curious about the other person. It's super cute watching them play together. I love that family lives close by and our kids can grow up together friends.

9 Years Strong

It has been 9 of the greatest years of my life. I am completely head over heel for this man I married. Eternity will not be a long enough time to spend with him. 

He started our morning off by surprising me with two gifts. One gift mad me smile because it wasn't really for me, it was for Maylie. He just couldn't resist this outfit while he was at Cal Ranch. She just had to have it. That silly boy spoils her SOOO much. Still, I totally agree, she needed that outfit :)

2nd he blindfolded me and walked me in to surprise me with a new camp-chef.  We have needed one for years. We can use it for camping, but it will also be a huge help when it comes to doing the canning in the fall. He spoils me rotten.

Later Tyce figured out someone who could do his pipe for him so he could take me out to dinner. Texas Roadhouse is our go to place. It was such a nice date and break from the kids. Tyce and I really enjoy our time together just the two of us. We really are best friends. There is no one I would rather be with. Our love is our greatest blessing. I love him so much.

Happy Father's Day Daddy

I've been blessed with many great fathers in my life and it is so wonderful that there is a day to celebrate them. Especially to celebrate this man here. 

Traditionally, the kids made him a very special tie to wear to church. Both boys really put a lot of thought and love into what exactly needed to be on the tie. 

He is such a good sport for wearing it proudly to church for them. They loved showing off their creation to everyone at church.

Rhev also made Tyce a special picture of the temple. He used all the colors in the rainbow and also added a door knob.

Tyce really is the greatest blessing in my life. I knew that when we were first together that I had a great catch, but every day he proves that he is better then I could ever imagine. I truly is the best Dad. He loves and adores each of his kids. He works so hard so that they can have everything they desire. He is teaching them by example the way a man should be and they know that they are loved unconditionally. He is righteous, humble, kind, funny, silly and loving. He is the full package! I am so blessed to have him as the father of my children. There is no one greater!

Grandpa's Cookin Rhev's Fish

We had a lot of fish sitting in our freezer from past fishing trips and Rhev really really wanted to eat the fish he had caught. 

Grandpa volunteered to come over and cook our fish grandpa style, which is totally delicious. 

He is the BEST cook I have ever known. Dinner was delicious and the pinnacle game we got to play afterwards was even better. I love my daddy and I'm so grateful for all that he's willing to do for me and my family. 

They are two peas in a pod!

I always told Tyce I would be totally mad if he ever shared his love another girl. Well I think the time has come. He has found another girl and she has COMPLETELY stole his heart.

The love that these two share is truly special. He adores her and She adores him.

I guess in this case I will have to let my anger go. What greater thing on the earth is there then the love of a father with his daughter. This bond will last forever. I love them both.

T-Ball

It's hard to believe, but my baby boy is old enough to play T-ball. He plays every Tuesday and Thursday through the month of June at 7:00. It has been hot everyday and it's mighty tricky keeping up with the two little ones that aren't playing. 

Rhev has never played baseball of any kind or done anything like this with other kids so teaching him was the tricky part. He really likes to be the best at everything he does so when it didn't go his way, he gets really disappointed in himself. Tyce is always so good at coaching him and helping him get through and understand.

He is the cutest little ball player I have ever seen. He is so good at batting. That's his favorite part. He's had some really good hits.

Outfield is the most entertaining to watch. At this age, no matter where the ball is hit, every kid chases after it. It is so funny!

To make Tball more fun, we were able to get Rhev and Allie Andersen on the same team. That way they at least had one other person they would know. They did so good together and it was good that they could stick together. It's so great for Tyce and I to have such good friends that share kids the same age as ours.

Diaper Baby

The absolute worst insult/ punishment in the world to my little Rhev is to be a "Diaper baby".  Well we've decided to use that to our advantage a parents and use it as a consequence for bad behavior. Every time the kids do something super naughty, they get to wear a clean diaper on there head. Well tonight at grandma's Rhev earned his first opportunity to experience our new consequence. 

He was not happy, but it totally worked! It only took one minute with a diaper on his head and he was back to being sweet and learned his lesson.

Then Kayl thought it would be funny to put it on Brielle's head.

It took some time, but he got it, and I got the picture proof. Haha

Planting Grass- We're ready for a yard!

Dirt, dirt and more dirt. We are so ready to have grass and lose some of the dirt. Thank you to a hard working, amazing Daddy, the dirt was smoothed, rocks were picked and SEEDS WERE PLANTED. It is such a beautiful sight. 

Now we just  have to keep it watered in the hot summer sun.
